Terms + Conditions
Last updated: July 10, 2026
Welcome to ashleykesner.com, home of Freeyourghost LLC.
These Terms + Conditions explain what you’re agreeing to when you use this website, buy a digital product, sign up for monthly peer support, or reserve a Squarespace Sprint.
By using this site or purchasing something from Freeyourghost LLC, you agree to these terms. Please read them before throwing your credit card at the screen.
Throughout this page:
“Freeyourghost LLC,” “Ashley,” “I,” “me,” “we,” and “us” refer to Freeyourghost LLC and Ashley Kesner.
“You,” “your,” and “client” refer to the person using the website or purchasing a product or service.
If you don’t agree with these terms, don’t purchase or use the site.
The Grown-Up Stuff
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement to purchase from this website.
By making a purchase, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have permission to use the payment method you submit.
What I Sell
Freeyourghost LLC may offer things like:
Squarespace strategy, development, improvements, and support
The Squarespace Sprint
Monthly text- or voice-based peer support
Digital downloads, guides, handbooks, templates, and resources
Writing, research, education, strategy, or creative services
Other products or services listed on ashleykesner.com
The specific details of your purchase, including the price, scope, timing, and deliverables, will be explained on the sales page, checkout page, invoice, intake form, proposal, or written agreement.
If a custom agreement says something different from this page, the custom agreement wins for that specific project.
Payments
Payment is due when you purchase unless we’ve agreed to something different in writing.
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
You’re responsible for any bank fees, payment-processing fees, currency conversion fees, or applicable taxes tied to your purchase.
Please don’t jump straight to a chargeback if there’s a problem. Email me first at hi@ashleykesner.com and give me a reasonable chance to fix it.
That doesn’t take away any rights you’re legally entitled to through your bank, card provider, or applicable consumer law.
Refunds
Here’s the deal: most purchases are nonrefundable.
My services involve reserving time, turning away other work, preparing materials, reviewing your information, and doing the work you hired me to do.
That means changing your mind, disappearing, getting busy, forgetting you bought something, or deciding you no longer feel like doing the thing doesn’t automatically qualify you for a refund.
Refunds may still be issued when required by law, when I’m unable to provide the service, or when I decide a refund, credit, or reschedule is the fairest solution.
Offering one person a refund or exception doesn’t mean I’m required to offer the same exception in every future situation.
Digital Products
All digital product sales are final.
Because digital products are delivered immediately or made available shortly after purchase, I don’t offer refunds, exchanges, or returns once access has been provided, except where required by law.
Please read the product description before purchasing.
If a file is broken, missing, corrupted, inaccessible, or wildly different from what you purchased, email hi@ashleykesner.com. I’ll make a reasonable effort to fix the issue or provide a working replacement.
Purchasing a digital product gives you permission to use it for your own personal or internal business use.
It does not give you permission to:
Share it with your friends, clients, coworkers, group chat, or the entire internet
Resell it
Upload it to a membership, marketplace, shared drive, or resource library
Copy it and slap your name on it
Use it to create a competing product
Remove branding, copyright notices, or ownership information
You’re buying the right to use the product, not ownership of the intellectual property behind it.
Monthly Peer Support
What This Service Is
Monthly peer support is a lived-experience-based service built around honest conversation, reflection, encouragement, perspective, accountability, and support from another human being.
It is not therapy.
It is not counseling, medical care, psychiatric treatment, case management, legal advice, financial advice, or emergency intervention.
I’m not acting as your therapist, doctor, attorney, financial adviser, or crisis professional through this service.
Purchasing peer support does not create a therapist-client, doctor-patient, attorney-client, or other licensed professional relationship.
You’re still responsible for your own choices, safety, health care, decisions, and outcomes.
This Is Not a Crisis Service
Monthly peer support is not monitored 24/7 and should never be used during an emergency.
If you’re in immediate danger or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, call 911, go to the nearest emergency room, or call or text 988 in the United States.
Do not wait for me to respond to a message during an emergency.
I cannot guarantee immediate responses, constant availability, or support within a timeframe appropriate for a crisis.
How Communication Works
Peer support may happen through text, voice messages, email, or another platform explained when you sign up.
This is an asynchronous service unless I specifically say otherwise.
That means:
Responses are not immediate or on demand
Messages may be answered during designated business hours
Weekends, holidays, illness, family needs, message volume, and life being life may affect response times
Unused messages, access, or support do not roll over
This does not include unlimited live conversations
This does not include scheduled therapy sessions
This does not make me available at every hour of the day
Communication boundaries may be created or updated when needed to keep the service useful, respectful, and sustainable.
Privacy
I’ll treat private messages and personal information with care.
However, peer support does not come with the same legal confidentiality protections that may apply to therapy, medical care, or attorney-client communication.
Email, text, voice messages, websites, and digital platforms all come with some level of security risk. No electronic communication system can be guaranteed completely private or secure.
Please do not send sensitive information like:
Social Security numbers
Banking information
Complete medical records
Passwords
Credit card details
Anything you’d deeply regret sending through a digital platform
Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with the law, respond to a valid legal request, protect someone’s safety, address fraud or abuse, or respond to a credible concern involving imminent harm.
Billing and Renewals
If monthly peer support is sold as a subscription, it will renew automatically at the billing interval and price shown during checkout until you cancel.
By signing up, you authorize recurring charges to your selected payment method.
You can cancel future renewals through the method provided in your account or by emailing hi@ashleykesner.com before your next billing date.
Canceling stops future charges.
It does not create a refund for the current billing period.
Partial-month refunds and prorated refunds are not provided unless required by law.
Not using the service does not cancel the subscription.
Forgetting to cancel does not cancel the subscription.
Thinking very hard about canceling does not cancel the subscription.
You need to cancel it.
Ending the Service
You or I may choose to end the peer-support relationship.
I may pause or terminate the service if:
A payment fails, is reversed, or is disputed
Communication becomes abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually inappropriate, or harassing
The service is being used in place of clinical treatment or emergency care
The relationship moves outside the intended scope of peer support
Continuing would be unsafe, unethical, unlawful, or unsustainable
You seriously violate these Terms
When possible, I’ll communicate that the service is ending.
Any refund decision will depend on the circumstances, the amount of the billing period already used, work already provided, and applicable law.
No Guaranteed Outcome
Peer support can offer clarity, encouragement, perspective, and a place to say the damn thing.
It cannot guarantee a specific emotional, personal, professional, financial, health, relationship, or business outcome.
You’re responsible for what you do with the support you receive.
The Squarespace Sprint
What You’re Buying
The Squarespace Sprint is an asynchronous four-hour block of focused Squarespace work.
You are purchasing four hours of my working time.
You are not purchasing:
A four-hour live meeting
Four hours of unlimited access to me
An unlimited number of tasks
A promise that your entire website will be rebuilt in one afternoon
A tiny website miracle performed through sheer force of will
I’ll use the four-hour block to complete the highest-priority work we agree on based on your intake form, website condition, materials, access, and project needs.
The amount of work completed depends on things like:
The size and condition of your current website
How complicated your requests are
Whether your content and images are ready
Whether you provide the right access
Squarespace limitations
Third-party tools or integrations
Surprise technical nonsense discovered along the way
I’ll use my professional judgment to prioritize what can be completed within the time you purchased.
Intake and Scheduling
After purchase, you’ll receive instructions explaining what I need from you.
Your Sprint is not ready to schedule until I receive your completed intake form, materials, priorities, and website access.
Purchasing the Sprint reserves the service. It does not automatically guarantee a specific work date unless that date has been confirmed in writing.
Projects may be scheduled based on availability and the order in which completed intake materials are received.
If your intake is incomplete, vague, or missing half the things I need, your Sprint may be delayed.
What You Need to Provide
You agree to provide:
Complete and accurate intake information
Clear priorities
Access to the correct Squarespace website
Final or usable copy
Images, branding, and other materials needed for the work
Timely answers when I need clarification
Permission to edit and configure your website
You confirm that you own or have permission to use all copy, photos, logos, graphics, videos, fonts, trademarks, testimonials, and other materials you provide.
You’re responsible for reviewing your website and confirming that your:
Prices are correct
Contact information is correct
Policies are correct
Claims are truthful
Links work
Service details are accurate
Business information is current
I’m not responsible for incorrect information you provided or failed to review.
Website Access and Security
Whenever possible, you should invite me as a Squarespace contributor instead of giving me your main login credentials.
Please do not send passwords through random email threads or DMs.
You’re responsible for maintaining control of your:
Website
Domain
Email
Payment processor
Scheduling tools
Third-party accounts
Login information
If login information must be shared, use the requested method and update sensitive passwords after the work is complete when appropriate.
I’ll take reasonable precautions with your access information, but no online system is completely immune to security issues, outages, bugs, hacking, or bad behavior from third parties.
Please keep your own copies of important content, images, customer information, and account details.
What Is Not Included
Unless I agree to it in writing, the Squarespace Sprint does not include:
Custom CSS
Custom coding or software development
A complete website rebuild
Unlimited pages
Unlimited tasks
Unlimited revisions
Logo design
Full brand identity design
Professional photography
Writing every word of your website
Attorney-approved legal policies
Legal advice
Formal accessibility certification
Guaranteed accessibility compliance
Guaranteed Google rankings
Guaranteed traffic, sales, bookings, or conversions
Ongoing maintenance
Ongoing support after the Sprint
Squarespace subscription costs
Domain fees
Paid plugins, fonts, apps, images, or third-party tools
Requests outside the agreed scope may be declined, postponed, or quoted separately.
Revisions and Fixes
The Sprint includes the work completed during the purchased four-hour block.
It does not include unlimited revisions afterward.
You’ll have a reasonable opportunity to review the work and report genuine technical problems or places where the completed work does not match what we agreed on.
A correction is not the same thing as:
Changing your mind
Sending new copy after the Sprint
Adding another page
Asking for a completely different direction
Remembering seven more things you wanted done
Deciding the project needs “one tiny tweak” that is not tiny
Additional work may require another paid service block.
Unless another review period is listed on the sales page, you must report material problems within seven calendar days of delivery.
Refunds and Rescheduling
Squarespace Sprint purchases are nonrefundable except where required by law or when I’m unable to provide the purchased service.
This is because I reserve time for your project and may turn away other work to do it.
A request to reschedule may be approved at my discretion if it is submitted before work begins.
Repeated delays, missing materials, incomplete intake forms, lack of access, or failure to respond may cause your Sprint to be postponed or canceled.
If you do not provide the required intake information, materials, or access within 60 days of purchase, the project may be considered abandoned.
Payments for abandoned projects are nonrefundable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If I need to cancel and cannot reasonably reschedule your Sprint, you’ll receive a refund for the portion of the service I was unable to provide.
Squarespace and Other Platforms
Squarespace is a third-party platform. I do not own it, control it, or have a secret hotline to its developers.
I’m not responsible for:
Squarespace outages
Bugs
Platform updates
Discontinued features
Price increases
Changes to platform rules
Third-party integrations breaking
Account restrictions or suspensions
Problems caused by plugins, domains, payment processors, email providers, or other platforms
Work becoming outdated because technology changed later
You’re responsible for maintaining and paying for any website plan, domain, email service, font license, image license, app, plugin, or third-party subscription your website needs.
Results
I’ll perform the work with reasonable care and professional judgment.
I cannot guarantee:
A specific search ranking
That Google will index your site
A certain number of leads or sales
Increased traffic
Increased conversions
Perfect performance on every device and browser
That your site will never experience downtime, spam, bugs, or hacking
Approval from Google, Meta, Squarespace, payment processors, or any other platform
Websites exist inside a giant ecosystem of algorithms, platforms, browsers, devices, user behavior, market conditions, and technology that changes whenever it feels like ruining everyone’s day.
Other Creative or Consulting Services
For services not specifically covered above, the scope is limited to what appears on the sales page, invoice, proposal, checkout page, or written agreement.
Additional revisions, pages, research, meetings, deliverables, or requests may cost extra.
Creative work and strategy involve judgment.
Disliking a recommendation or deciding you would have chosen something different does not automatically mean the work was defective or that you’re entitled to a refund.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Freeyourghost LLC owns the original materials, systems, methods, frameworks, resources, templates, drafts, educational content, website copy, articles, downloads, and internal tools created for this business.
Once you’ve paid in full, you may use final custom deliverables created specifically for your business for their intended purpose.
I still retain ownership of:
Preexisting templates
Processes
Frameworks
Educational materials
Unused concepts
Drafts
Internal working files
Licensed assets
General skills and methods used to create the work
Third-party fonts, images, software, templates, and other assets remain subject to their original licensing rules.
You may not scrape, copy, republish, resell, reproduce, or use content from ashleykesner.com to train artificial intelligence systems without written permission.
The Materials You Give Me
You keep ownership of the original materials you provide.
You give me permission to access, edit, upload, organize, copy, and use those materials as needed to complete the service you purchased.
You are responsible for making sure you have the legal right to use everything you send me.
That includes:
Copy
Photos
Logos
Videos
Testimonials
Fonts
Graphics
Trademarks
Customer information
Business claims
I’m not responsible for copyright, trademark, privacy, false advertising, or other legal problems caused by materials or instructions you provided.
Portfolio Use
Unless you request confidentiality in writing before the work begins, I may share publicly available finished website work in my portfolio, on social media, in proposals, or in educational and promotional content.
I will not intentionally share:
Your passwords
Private intake responses
Private peer-support messages
Confidential financial information
Sensitive personal information
Anything that was clearly provided as private and not meant for public use
This Is Not Professional Advice
Content on ashleykesner.com and within my products or services is for general educational and informational purposes.
It is not legal, medical, psychiatric, tax, financial, employment, or accessibility-compliance advice.
Please contact an appropriately qualified professional when your situation requires specialized guidance.
Testimonials and Past Results
Testimonials, examples, case studies, and portfolio pieces reflect individual experiences.
They are not promises that you’ll receive the same result.
Your outcome depends on your business, industry, decisions, market, budget, implementation, starting point, resources, timing, and many other factors outside my control.
Don’t Be a Jerk
You may not use this website, my services, or my communication platforms to:
Break the law
Harass or threaten someone
Send discriminatory or sexually inappropriate content
Commit fraud
Submit false information
Spread malware
Attempt unauthorized access
Copy or steal content
Interfere with the website
Impersonate another person
Use peer support as an emergency service
I may restrict or terminate access if you violate these terms.
Website Accuracy and Availability
I try to keep the website accurate and functional.
I cannot promise that every page, link, price, description, product, or feature will always be perfect, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
I may update prices, correct mistakes, change services, remove products, or revise website content at any time.
If a major pricing or product-description error affects your purchase, I may cancel the order and provide an appropriate refund.
Third-Party Links and Services
This website may link to or use third-party services.
I’m not responsible for another company’s:
Content
Security
Privacy practices
Accessibility
Policies
Availability
Behavior
Bad decisions
Your use of third-party platforms is governed by their own terms.
Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, this website, my products, and my services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
I do not promise that everything will be error-free, uninterrupted, compatible with every system, or perfect for every purpose.
Nothing in these Terms removes a legal right or warranty that cannot lawfully be waived.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Freeyourghost LLC and Ashley Kesner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses.
That includes things like:
Lost profits
Lost revenue
Lost opportunities
Lost data
Business interruption
Reputational damage
Emotional distress
Consequences from decisions you made after using a product or service
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability related to a claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service connected to the claim during the three months before the event occurred.
These limitations do not apply where the law does not allow liability to be excluded or limited.
Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to protect and hold harmless Freeyourghost LLC and Ashley Kesner from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses caused by:
Materials you provided
Instructions you gave
Your website
Your business practices
Your products or services
Your legal violations
Your misuse of my work
Your violation of another person’s rights
Your violation of these Terms
This does not require you to take responsibility for claims caused solely by my own unlawful conduct or gross negligence where the law prohibits that.
Life Happens
I’m not responsible for delays caused by things outside my reasonable control.
That may include illness, family emergencies, severe weather, internet outages, power outages, cyberattacks, platform failures, natural disasters, government action, civil unrest, or other major disruptions.
When possible, I’ll communicate significant delays and make a reasonable effort to reschedule affected services.
Disputes
Before filing a formal legal claim, email hi@ashleykesner.com with a written explanation of the problem and what you believe would reasonably resolve it.
We both agree to make a good-faith effort to sort things out before dragging everyone into a legal circus.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Unless the law requires otherwise, legal proceedings must be filed in a Pennsylvania state or federal court with proper jurisdiction.
Either party may still use small claims court when eligible or seek urgent legal relief when needed to protect intellectual property, confidential information, or account security.
Severability
If one section of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
No Waiver
If I do not enforce a term immediately, that does not mean I’ve waived the right to enforce it later.
Transfers
You may not transfer your purchase, subscription, service, or rights under these Terms to another person without written permission.
Freeyourghost LLC may transfer these Terms as part of a sale, merger, restructuring, or transfer of business assets.
Changes to These Terms
I may update these Terms when the business, services, platforms, or legal requirements change.
The updated version will be posted here with a revised “Last updated” date.
Terms in effect when you made a purchase will generally continue to apply to that purchase unless the law requires an update or you agree to new terms through a renewal or additional purchase.
The Whole Agreement
These Terms, along with the applicable sales page, checkout page, privacy policy, invoice, proposal, intake form, and any written agreement, make up the full agreement between you and Freeyourghost LLC.
They replace prior conversations or promises about the same purchase unless something different is later confirmed in writing.
